The Chairman of the SCA Vice Admiral Sir Jonathan Tod, KCB CBE, visited the Rotary Club presentation at the Floral Hall, Southport to speak on the behalf of the Sea cadet Corp. Southport Unit together with Kirby North Liverpool and South Liverpool Unit provided a Guard of Honour with 24 cadets. The three Units staged a display for the Vice Admiral and the Rotary Club, the first display being the combined Band of Kirby North Liverpool, and South Liverpool Units. Southport Cadets also provided a performance from the Southport Kazoo Orchestra. The whole weekend was a success and provided the Rotary Club an insight to what the Sea Cadet Corps can offer young people throughout the UK.
